Illnesses, Heatwaves, and mosquitos OH MY!

I have been a little under the weather the last week or so. Prior to that I was starting work on a little home improvement project that my wife has joined me on with abandon. We have decided to put down a laminate floor that has a sort of medium oak color to it in what looks much like small odd length planks. It is a really attractive change to the room once it is done. My buddy and I learned about the methods for installing this flooring by practicing on my computer room.

The result, even with some small flaws, is remarkable for two newbs(bright though we may be).  

I think it is a remarkable change from the dog hair covered carpet. Its a little louder in there now with music going but much nicer to be in that room than the one I left behind a few weeks ago.

Laminate is an awesome thing.
