My Pictures to date…
April 7, 2008 on 1:31 am | In Photographic Evidence |I did the recent Wordpress update and in the process, managed to destroy my blog. It isn’t much but, it is MINE, so I took it a little hard. I am posting these pictures to let people see what a rank amateur can do with a little research. These pictures are not fantastic but they are mine! Enjoy!

These are decent examples of a total beginners attempts to use a very cheap old web camera to take astronomy pictures! Dark skies to you all!

Very nice photos!. I’m going to try to press my 7 mp Canon into service with my Orion 10 inch scope to take some moon shots. The telescope doesn’t track so I’ll have to stick to bright objects but you have inspired me to see what minimal equipment will do. Thanks!

Thank you. If you have an eyepiece mount for the camera, like the one Orion sells, you should be able to take fantastic photos of anything you can see in the camera. A remote trigger would help with jiggle. Good luck and please post your photos. I love seeing what others are doing with their scopes!
